Print method
Colour that lives in the fabric.
Dye sublimation embeds colour directly into polyester fibres using heat and pressure. The result is a permanent, full-coverage print that won't fade, crack, or peel — no matter how many times it's washed.

What is sublimation?
Not printed on the fabric — printed into it.
Standard printing methods deposit ink on top of a fabric surface. Sublimation is different. Using heat and pressure, dye is converted from a solid directly into a gas — bypassing the liquid state entirely — and bonds permanently into the polyester fibres at a molecular level.
The design becomes structurally part of the garment. There's no layer to crack, peel, or wear away. The fabric's texture and breathability are completely unchanged.
Because it works at the fibre level, sublimation requires 100% polyester fabric. It's the go-to method for performance sportswear, competition uniforms, and any job where longevity and vibrant full-coverage colour matter.
The process
Design
Artwork is set up in full colour, sized to garment templates.
Print to transfer paper
Design is printed onto specialist transfer paper using dye-sublimation inks.
Heat press
Paper is placed on the polyester garment and pressed under high heat and pressure.
Ink becomes fabric
The dye sublimates — converting from solid to gas — and bonds permanently into the fibres.
Why sublimation
Built for garments that need to perform and last.
Seam to seam coverage
The entire garment becomes your canvas. Colour, pattern, and graphics can run right to every edge and seam — no white borders or print area limits.
Permanent and wash-proof
Dye is bonded into the fibres at a molecular level. The design can't peel, crack, or fade — because it is the fabric, not a layer on top of it.
Unlimited colours
Full photographic colour range with no setup cost per colour. Gradients, photography, and complex artwork print just as easily as flat graphics.
Lightweight and breathable
Because there's no ink sitting on top of the fabric, sublimated garments stay breathable and comfortable — critical for performance sportswear.
Best for
Any team that wants to stand out.
Sublimation is the standard for competition sportswear because nothing else comes close for durability and design freedom. If your team needs custom jerseys, race gear, or event shirts — sublimation is almost certainly the right call.
